Die-cut gaskets are used in a wide variety of applications.

Some of the more common uses of die-cut gaskets are environmental seals, dust seals, vibration dampers and EMI shielding. When designing a gasket, remember to consider environmental, regulatory and electrical requirements.

Many of our products can be supplied with an adhesive backing, which can reduce or eliminate the need to use difficult to control liquid adhesive on the assembly line. Our sales team is available to assist you in specifying the correct materials and die-cut shapes to meet your unique requirements.

ITEMS TO CONSIDER WHEN SPECIFYING A DIE-CUT PART

Consider a multi-cavity steel rule die instead of a single cavity. Multiple cavity dies increase the number of gaskets made with each hit, which may reduce the amount of labor needed to manufacture a production quantities.

In some cases, accordion style dies should be considered. Accordion style dies make efficient use of the gasket material.
