VITON COATED MOUNTS

ADVANTAGES

1. Viton^® coating encapsulates the mount, which provides a broad range of chemical and heat resistance.
2. Have wider temperature range and tolerance that any other coating product.
3. Can successfully handle thermal cycling, flexing and vibration far better than any other coating products.
4. Rate as “Excellent” to “Outstanding” against everything from heat aging to oxidation resistance.
5. Finished coats are tough, flexible, and resilient to abrasion and impact.
6. Will not crack, peel or delaminate due to any of the above conditions.
7. Dielectric (insulating) strength in excess of 500 volts (at 250 milliohms sensitivity) per mil thickness.
8. Can normally be applied and reapplied in multiple coats within 60 minutes time, yet not dry so fast as to make the application process difficult.
9. SB versions do not require head curing between coats or at all. Full cure usually achieved ambiently within 5 to 10 days.
10. Can be easily repaired by cleaning the damaged surface and applying the coating over the affected area including the previously coated surface.
11. May offer corrosion protection lasting up to 2 to 10 times longer than other mere paints, so they actually cost less over the long haul than low-priced, commercially available coatings.
12. Very low out gassing makes our Viton^® encapsulated mounts perfect for clean room applications!
13. Comes in standard or fluoropolymer-enhanced versions. Colors available.
